Code 95 digital tachograph (U23-1) as e-learning
U23-1 covers the digital tachograph and on-board computers. The e-learning (variant E4, 4 hours online) has six chapters with tasks on a tachograph simulator, a chapter test for each chapter and a final test.
The six chapters
Each chapter has 13 slides and ends with a chapter test of five questions. In total there are 78 slides.
1. Rules and obligations
Driving, break and rest times and the rules of the Dutch working time decree for transport.
2. The digital tachograph and the cards
How the digital tachograph works and which cards exist.
3. Operation at the start and end of the shift
What you do at the start and at the end of your shift.
4. Activities during the trip
Setting and keeping track of activities while driving.
5. Printing, downloading and on-board computers
Printing, downloading data and using on-board computers.
6. Inspection and enforcement
What an inspection involves and what enforcement looks at.
Practise on a simulator
In the lessons you carry out tasks on a tachograph simulator. At the start you choose which tachograph you practise on: VDO or Stoneridge SE5000. You see whether a task succeeded.
Time and completion
The e-learning requires 240 minutes of active time. You finish with a final test. The certificate is only issued when you have passed the final test and completed the full active time. The 3-hour classroom session with your teacher follows.
